The challengesEven though it provides good opportunities, the fact that you receive minimum wage salary is a let down. You may get overworked yet underpaid depending on the project you work with. The limited benefits can also demotivate you if you're working just for the salary.
You also get no paid leaves hence, you will not be paid for the day when you file a sick leave, vacation leave, etc. You will, however, get those benefits when you decide to extend your contract for another year. But you would rather have the benefits as a direct employee rather as a contractor.
