Good for fresh graduates BUT...!The good thingsAs my headline initiated, my two-year experience was wonderful as a fresh graduate, or at least barely (with humor intended).
AllValue really lives up to its name, which is seeing value even at the kickoff of one's career. My position as Facilities Engineer has provided me the fundamentals of the practice as an engineer. The company has immersed me and boosted my confidence in the critical 'soft' skills such as decision-making, critical thinking, organization and time management.
Other good things:
1. Friendly colleagues
2. Competitive salary as a fresh grad (given that you are single or no family/children who solely relies on you)
3. Comfortable working environment (CR has bidets and tissues, lavatory, microwave, water dispenser etc)
4. Chance to discover new places
5. Reimbursable lunch/OT meal during site
6. ON TIME Salary release
The challengesGoing with the "BUT", these are SOME:
1. Delayed benefits [performance increase, reimbursements release, HMO Cards etc.]
2. Unorganized Management [No Vision, No Mission, organizational goals posted in every nooks and canny of office, No rank-hierarchy organizational charts (just be surprised if the one you just argued with was a boss of another department), No DEFINITE work scope & boundaries etc]
3. Past working hours working.
4. Understaff. Its obvious. Really.
Career is good at the start, but overall, AllValue is not for 'KEEPS'-type of company and workplace.
