where I strengthened my skills and gained valuable team experience.
The good thingsI enjoyed working in a creative environment alongside nearly 200 graphic designers and flash animators. Collaborating with a large, talented team helped me grow creatively, learn different design approaches, and improve my skills through shared ideas and fast-paced projects. The experience was both inspiring and motivating during my 8 months with the company.
The challengesImprove the safety and security of workers’ personal belongings in the workplace.

I would not recommend to stay here longer than 2 years.
The good thingsDiverse environment (people); early release of pay.
The challengesHigh turnover of management (Almost every two years they change people at the top) or leave after 2 years; Micromanagement is rampant in almost all production teams.

Affinity X is a place to be if you want to make a difference while prioritizing your career growth.
The good thingsAs an HR professional at Affinity X, I have the unique vantage point of witnessing the company's commitment to excellence not only in client services but also in fostering an exceptional workplace environment.
The challengesChallenges are inherent in any growing organization, and at Affinity X, they serve as stepping stones to progress. The positive attitude and collaborative spirit within our team are what make overcoming these challenges not only possible but also a testament to our shared commitment to excellence.

My role was declared redundant, the ending was disappointing to say the least.
The good thingsOne good thing about working here is the paid forced leaves and the fixed 5-day workweek.
The challengesThe night shift schedule for the Copywriting Team is not necessary as we rarely correspond with parties in a different time zone.

The challengesThere will always be challenges, but I think It's more of coping with the performance metrics.

    Grateful with AffinityX
The good thingsI really loved that AffinityX has a work life balance and a very considerate management, superiors and colleagues
The challengesI think it is about the location of the company from my current home but I am happy because we are still on a hybrid set up

Would you sign an employment contract with a financial training bond?
The good thingsGreat colleagues. HMO upon regularization.
The challengesOnce you sign that contract, you'll have a 3 year training bond that costs 4x your salary. This is unjustifiable as training is very inaccurate to the actual job. Micromanagement is also frustrating.

    Slow Learning Phase for Newbies
The good thingsadvance release of salary
The challengesthis used to be a good stepping stone for fresh grads before, but sadly, all tenured left here since the salary is so low compared to other companies. funny thing, mostly hired higher positions have no ad ops experience since they are internally hired. training is taking so long because they dont have much trainers too.

    Toxic atmosphere with no support
The good thingssalary is sometimes given a few days in advance.
The challengesTraining and decision making are done by people who have no idea what they're talking about. They change structures and general directions annually causing instability. I can't even recommend this place as a stepping stone since they practice lengthy training bonds.

    Work-Life Balance | Good Culture
The good things1. Hybrid Work Set-up is one of the advantages working for AX as I'm able to manage my time more efficiently, and at the same time, no need for everyday long and hassle commute. 2. Salary is not on-time, but always EARLIER.
The challengesI see it more of an area for improvement. I think company needs to improve on the branding to attract and engage talents to join the company.

The good thingsEnjoyed the proximity of the work place. The company has a good reputation in the industry.
The challengesBad management. Terrible environment. Their measurement is entirely based on their power tripping not on the real measure of the competence of the employee. It has lots of negative feedback and attrition and the management would even opt for employees to just fill up a tl survey form. The higher management should really investigage the insider of this department.

think 1000x before applying for marketing consultant role
The good thingsoverall solid company; been in the industry for a long time, if you live in QC area proximity is an advantage.
The challengestraining - the training could use an overhaul. the previous trainer/s need to google the term "Educator" or "teacher". Non-conducive learning environment training is always at a power trip. heavily connected to the top. Save the time and effort and energy from applying here. this department is more toxic than a telco BPO.

Marketing Consultant - Apply Elsewhere and Do NOT WASTE your career here.
The good thingsSalary is credited on time, great covid response (WFH deployment) and the proximity of the workplace.
The challengesToo much office politics. The management are incompetent from the mangers to the supervisor and the training. there is so much distrust with the management because of their incompetence, focusing on petty issues. the marketing consultant leadership team has integrity issues as well.

    Run from this company
The good thingsSalary given on time
The challengesImmature management. Beware of this department. It can be difficult to distinguish work from their drama. Oftentimes it gets mixed up. Better stay here without any friends than share tables with them

The challengesToo much overtime and bad metric system. They should revise their grading system.

    Please think twice before applying
The good thingsSalary pay is always on time or given in advance. Some team leaders and managers look out for their team member's best interests and well-being. Working is bearable because of helpful and friendly workmates. Company provides necessary trainings and you'll learn a lot of tasks.
The challengesA LOT!! Toxic working environment including the management and HR. The higher-ups don't acknowledge the employees' efforts. Chances of promotion and appraisal are slim to none. Low salary pay for a high-paying position. No career growth. Many employees have been in the company for years and yet their status remains the same. Lots of company politics and band-aid solutions. They'd rather give raise or hire incompetent and underserving people for the position instead of those who truly deserve it. This could be a good company if you're after the experience, but not for long-term. A great number of attrition and filed resignation has become a normal thing in this company that it's no longer surprising. Better think twice before submitting your application.

A lot of challenges in your role
The good thingsYou will learn a lot from here especially the design trends. Colleagues and trainers are approachable and they are willing to help you whenever you need them.
The challengesManagers didn't lend an ear to their employees. They are more on a client-side. Scorecard is just worst. It will give you a lot of pressure. You will never experience work life balance here. No wonder why every week there's an employee who resigns.

    An honest company review
The good things- Accessible location (UP-AyalaLand Technohub) - I have met people with the same goals and principles in life.
The challenges- I had a terrible stay at AffinityX's MCVEX Department - Employees are overworked. - No work/life balance - They don't value tenured employees. - Office politics are also present. - The superiors hire incompetent people (i.e. People with slow typing speed, people without creative juices, etc.) just to fill the employment slots. - Terribly incompetent trainer. - Career growth is purely based on the superiors' decision.

Terrible stay at AffinityX's Marketing Consultant Services Department
The good thingsAffinityX's strategic location in UP-AyalaLand TechnoHub was a great factor why I considered working here aside from the fact that it's a part of Ayala Group of Companies.
The challengesTo sum it up, the so-called leaders overseeing the MC Services Department are all incompetent. The Talent Recruitment Team should apply stricter and stringent assessments for Marketing Consultants. These 'leaders' always 'powertrip' and break rules oftentimes.

The good things• Seniors are very approachable • Accessible • Located in a good environment • Ideal training ground to master inDesign
The challenges• Employees are overworked with only 15 leaves a year, inclusive of SLs and VLs. • Projects are not creative. You can't call yourself a designer here, more of a layout artist. • Small salary • They don't value their tenured employees. I know some who are working in the company for more than 5 years already but haven't been promoted yet. • If you're looking for an experience, it's a good start but for me, it's not a company I would want to work for for years. 1 year would be the longest. • Colleagues tend to gossip a lot! I didn't even talk to them but they would still share sensitive issues about each other even without me asking.

The good thingsYou meet a lot of good colleagues, easy work, great experience.
The challengesNight shift, low salary, bad management, no room for growth and company does not take care of its employees. They always take clients’ side and does not think of the employees’ well being.
