A TRANSPARENT REVIEWThe good thingsPROS
ACDI offers many benefits such as free lunch and free dinner (since they are not paying overtime work), free uniform, travel allowance, birthday gift, wedding, bonuses and housing allowance. Also, they offers monthly grocery thru their partner store, the amount depends on your status. Hence, contractual employees are not entitled. Aside from that, their salary does not have provincial or city rate. It was all the same depending of course to your position. No work during weekends and holidays on usual days but sometimes they are having activities on weekends in which you are REQUIRED to attend.
The challengesCONS
Expect to work long hours. It is not normal to go home at 5PM, unless you have an important appointment - but you cannot reason it out everyday. You are consider lucky if you can go home between 6:30PM 0r 7:00PM. Depending on department, most employees usually go home at 8:00PM to 12:MD (Head Office) and 10:00PM to Wee hours for branches. During month ends, head office personnel usually stays until midnight. In Branches, you must bring your pajamas and bath essentials because you cannot go home, no matter how much you wanted to do that, the job requirements makes it impossible. (Worst? That's not even paid)
what I hate the most is that they don't offer RETIREMENT PLANS. They have great benefits that makes me stay for years but when you are becoming older, you will find yourself looking for long term benefits than short ones. Ok, let me make myself clear, they HAVE retirement plans - but you need to stay with the company for AT LEAST 20 years (and that's not even 100%)
They transfer employees from time to time, anywhere in the Philippines. No matter what your status and position are.
