    Good for beginners willing to work in a challenging work environment
    The good thingsTraining in multitasking; Complete mandatory benefits; If you are lucky and the TOP management likes you, there will be a great room for career advancement for you; Enjoyable company Activities (Summer Outing, Anniversary, etc)
    The challengesnever ending overtime work, even during weekends, almost always consuming your personal time; inevitable work assignment transfer to other office/branch locations; some level of promotion bias;

    Friendly to New Professionals
    The good thingsHires inexperienced professional which is good for professionals who wants to be trained and develop skills from ground up. Salary is competitive especially as an entry-level professional, employee benefits are not exemplary but significantly above average. Best thing: I work with wonderful colleagues!
    The challengesTraining upon admission is limited, expect hands-on and fast-paced work on day 1 or 2. Current culture is often not so welcome to "fresh" ideas, professional contribution to help the company grow is either discouraged or delayed. If you are an unconventional professional that THINKS about fresh solutions to same old recurring problems, your talent MIGHT just be wasted. Moreover, it is so ironic that this is a cooperative but "cooperation" is not so evident.

    A TRANSPARENT REVIEW
    The good thingsPROS ACDI offers many benefits such as free lunch and free dinner (since they are not paying overtime work), free uniform, travel allowance, birthday gift, wedding, bonuses and housing allowance. Also, they offers monthly grocery thru their partner store, the amount depends on your status. Hence, contractual employees are not entitled. Aside from that, their salary does not have provincial or city rate. It was all the same depending of course to your position. No work during weekends and holidays on usual days but sometimes they are having activities on weekends in which you are REQUIRED to attend.
    The challengesCONS Expect to work long hours. It is not normal to go home at 5PM, unless you have an important appointment - but you cannot reason it out everyday. You are consider lucky if you can go home between 6:30PM 0r 7:00PM. Depending on department, most employees usually go home at 8:00PM to 12:MD (Head Office) and 10:00PM to Wee hours for branches. During month ends, head office personnel usually stays until midnight. In Branches, you must bring your pajamas and bath essentials because you cannot go home, no matter how much you wanted to do that, the job requirements makes it impossible. (Worst? That's not even paid) what I hate the most is that they don't offer RETIREMENT PLANS. They have great benefits that makes me stay for years but when you are becoming older, you will find yourself looking for long term benefits than short ones. Ok, let me make myself clear, they HAVE retirement plans - but you need to stay with the company for AT LEAST 20 years (and that's not even 100%) They transfer employees from time to time, anywhere in the Philippines. No matter what your status and position are.

    Great perks and benefits!
    The good things- What I enjoyed working in this company was the opportunity to travel different places for free. - For me, the company's perks and benefits were really amazing even though the basic salary was just average.
    The challenges- A lot of paper work because of the company's nature of business. - Difficult to use vacation leaves.

    FIVE-YEAR WORKING EXPERIENCE
    The good thingsThe management provides many benefits and privileges to their employees such as rice, grocery, and housing allowances. They are also very supportive in the upgrading and development of their personnel as they give importance to seminars and training. Promotions are given to those who perform outstandingly in their line of work and are not only based on seniority.
    The challengesAs an employee, expect that you can be assigned anywhere in the Philippines. The Cooperative embodies a military culture since the incorporators or management come from the military too. Rules of the Cooperative are strictly implemented.
