    Happy but not overjoyed.
The good thingsThe good things? The owners of the company are just great and amazing. They have a big heart for their employees. My co-workers in my department, such an amazing people as well, because of them it is easy for me to learn the things that I need to know as someone who started a year ago. We all treated each other as family and that's one thing that I am looking for in a workplace. So, so far so good. :)
The challengesChallenges of course is always present in a company. Some things I found out where I need to learn based on my experience not because it was taught. Some managers, well who will leave you hanging or will turn a situation against you. And an average salary. Yes, I am happy with my co-workers but not enough salary to support the expenses at home.

    My Abiva
The good thingsPeople working here have the sense of belonging. Working environment is very familial. Has an average to above-average compensation packages, aside from the yearly increases and bonuses.
The challengesDeadline-driven. But as educational publishing house, I understand that it has to cope with the fluidity of the competition and the educational system itself.

We help teachers teach their students!
The good thingsWhat I enjoyed most is being able to see the manuscript transform into a best-selling textbook/worktext. The change is tangible making all the stress and overtime worth it.
The challengesWe are following a strict deadline that needs to be met as much as possible. Working with problematic authors who won't accept edits or changes and suggestions in their manuscript.
