Challenging, vague, and even sketchy hiring process
The good thingsFully remote job, day shift and permanent work from home
The challengesConfusing hiring process; HR was not able to clarify the whole process; discrepancy with the exam guidelines and recruiter's expectations.

Terrible because of the editor or QC, whatever she is.
The good thingsThe topics are interesting to write about.
The challengesThere is this editor named Chriselle. She's moody, and she doesn't give constructive criticism. Working with her is sometimes difficult because of her insulting behavior. I don't care if she is having a hard time outside of her duties here, but she should manage her behavior.

Perfect for writers with low-self esteem and self-worth.
The good thingsWork from home setup, and that's the only good thing here. No need to face the people in person.
The challengesDemanding editors. Weekly quota is 12,000 words - assuming they're approved. Approval takes time because editors love to send back your articles multiple times for edits. Communication style is extremely passive-aggressive. If you fail your weekly quota, you'll be demoted to part-time with a weekly quota of 6,000 words for approved articles. Fail that, and you're immediately terminated.

Too much work for what they're paying for. Beware.
The good thingsFully work-from-home setup. That's it.
The challengesDemanding editors. Too much guidelines for a supposedly simple write up. All that trouble for 25k?? Seriously?

    Guidelines from editor keep changing
The good thingsThere is not much good to say for now.
The challengesguidelines keep on changing especially from editor so writers end up with a lot of revisions and delays which will count against them but it's not the fault of the writer if the format and edits keep changing

    Editors are too demanding
The good things25K starting salary. They make it sound high but it's not, really.
The challengesEditors are too demanding. They make you reworK your articLe so thAt you end up missing youR dEadline. I guess this makeS thEm look efficieNt so look Closely and thInk reaLly well if you want 25K but you might not get it due to missed deadlines from demanding editors.

    A great opportunity.
The good thingsBetter than average salary for writers, WFH set-up with flexible hours, average workload, chill boss
The challengesPay only comes at the end of the month, occasionally stressful sometimes but not much
