    I worked here for almost 4 years and It was so great staying here and I have learned a lot from this company. In my stay here I have never felt that I was working because for me it was my second family, where everyone are so nice, nice work environment, great colleagues that were always ready to help, professional project managers that give best insights , approachable HR, good management and a boss that will bring out the best in you.

    Amazing People with Excellent Discipline
    The good thingsThe company has so many talented people which will require you to step up to be on their level. The good side is that the people here are not selfish and will gladly share their knowledge to you which would enable you to quickly learn and hone your skills. Employee compensation and benefits are great and you will never feel that you are being short-changed for your work.
    The challengesYou will find a quiet and well-disciplined culture here, no gossiping and slacking off while working. When it's time for work you'll do nothing else but work. There are no shortages of company-wide recreational activities though. High quality outputs will be expected of you as there is a brand name and quality to maintain.

    The good thingsIt is a strong and innovative company which will help you grow and succeed in your chosen career with a nice work life balance. They offer competitive compensation and other remuneration packages. They also have some company activites for their employees with great prizes.
    The challengesDiscipline and perfection is a must. If you made mistake, you must learn from it and take it as a positive challenge and not as a negative feedback.

    Hard work is recognized
    The good things1902 make sure you grow while working for them. They provide whatever you need to improve your productivity: hardware upgrades, technical resources, certification. They expect output with high quality standard thus teaching you to be thorough and accurate. They listen to feedback, give credit where credit is due, and encourage employees to be always at their best.
    The challengesRequires you to manage time efficiently and to understand your tasks very well. You must know when you are stuck and need help. Criticism must not be taken personally, rather use it as a tool to do better and improve your skills.

    A company which WILL improve your work ethics and discipline.
    The good thingsHere is what I like about 1902: 1.) When I was an applicant... 1902 probably, by a mile, has the *BEST* HR out there. Never did I feel that I was begging for a job nor did I feel that I was taken for granted during my application :) 2.) Now that I'm a part of the company... Three things: discipline, quality work and continious learning is what stood out the most. Based from this, I can attest as to how much they value their work ethics and such making it specially challenging than the usual. Although it might seem hard, 1902 still gives its employees a chance to have FUN in between by doing activities like bowling, yearend parties, company contests and of course the ever important free friday meryenda :)
    The challengesOutputs need to be PERFECT though it's ok to make mistakes as long as you'll learn from it. I am surrounded with exceptionally talented developers and sometimes I feel like I should step up more than the usual. Gasps. Though this is also a plus since I can be sure that I can have someone to ask when I reach some kind of a road block.

    Great place to practice discipline
    The good thingsWorking here has been a great challenge and is one of the best places to push yourself to the limits. You will accompanied with colleagues who will guide you in everything that you do. They will not hesitate to let you know if you need improve on a flaw which is a very good thing :) And oh yeah... free food on Fridays are always awesome here!
    The challengesHaving to deal with urgent tasks that you need to deliver for some clients. Sometimes it's hard to say no, especially if you really want to give good customer service.

    Great work experience, but not for the faint-hearted
    The good thingsPlenty of opportunities to enhance yourself. You get to work with the latest available technologies and you are constantly learning in the process. Most clients are based in Europe so you are immersed in a high quality standard of work that enhances your attention to details, thinking two steps ahead, and a general push to do beyond what is asked of you.
    The challengesWith high quality comes the high demand for you to always be on your toes and give your 100%. You will be exposed to new work cultures that are very different from your average Filipino workplace. If you cannot take criticism, then 1902 is not for you.

    Enhance not your skills, but also your character.
    The good thingsMajority of 1902's clients are in Western Europe. Not only did 1902 get through at least 2 economic recessions, it grew tenfold since. 1902 adapts to the continuously changing trends in the industry, and employees' skills and competence are improved to achieve this. Work ethics and discipline are also given equal attention. Both are required so that we produce products that can compete with world class standards. But it's not all hard work and no play :-).
    The challengesNot for people who wants slack and idle time at work. When it's time for work, you work. Nor for the ones who cannot take criticisms (constructive or otherwise). The demands are high, as there is quality to maintain.

    Challenging and Fun
    The good thingsOne thing I love about 1902 is that the employers care about the employee's well-being. I love the challenge of making the Philippines known for 1st-world web development. I love the camaraderie of people inside and outside the company. I am fortunate to have the best Magento team who are eager to learn and prove themselves to the world.
    The challengesOne thing that people can have a hard time to in 1902 is the culture shock. 1902 does things differently from normal Filipino companies. 1902 is so disciplined with regards to time which is very hard for some people who are accustomed to normal Filipino work culture. In 1902, we don't really value age/seniority which could be shocking to some people as well.
