Senior Physical Security Systems Engineer – Lenel OnGuard / Genetec

We are looking for an experienced Physical Security Systems Engineer to manage, maintain, upgrade, and modernize enterprise physical security applications, primarily Lenel OnGuard, while supporting the transition to Genetec Security Center.

• Strong hands-on experience with Lenel OnGuard (Version 8.2 or later).

• Knowledge of Genetec Security Center, Synergis, and Omnicast.

• Expertise in Access Control, Video Management Systems (VMS), Alarm Monitoring, Badge and Visitor Management.

• Strong Microsoft SQL Server and Windows Server knowledge.

• Experience with OpenAccess API, DataConduIT, Active Directory, and system integrations.

• Knowledge of networking, cybersecurity, and enterprise application troubleshooting.

• Deploy, upgrade, configure, and maintain Lenel OnGuard and Genetec applications.

• Support enterprise access control, video management, alarm monitoring, and security workflows.

• Manage application integrations, databases, and system architecture.

• Perform system troubleshooting, health checks, and root-cause analysis.

• Support migration from OnGuard to Genetec Security Center.

• Coordinate with global IT, security, infrastructure, and vendor teams.

• Lead technical improvements, documentation, and modernization initiatives.

• 10+ years of relevant IT application engineering or physical security systems experience.

• Strong Lenel OnGuard expertise and enterprise implementation experience.

• Genetec hands-on experience or working knowledge preferred.

• Experience with SQL Server, Windows Server, and enterprise integrations.

• Strong technical troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Lenel LCP/LCE or Genetec certification preferred.

• Azure or hybrid cloud experience is an advantage.
