InfraSec Engineer (Infrastructure Security Engineer)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer to support the operation, security, and continuous improvement of the company's IT infrastructure, with a particular focus on supporting the organization's ISO/IEC 27001 certification initiative. This role will work closely with Information Security, IT Operations, application teams, and other stakeholders to implement infrastructure-related security controls, remediate identified gaps, maintain technical documentation, and provide evidence required to demonstrate compliance with ISO 27001 requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and support enterprise Windows Server and related infrastructure
• Support Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and authentication services
• Support Microsoft 365 infrastructure and associated identity and access controls
• Support virtualization platforms, server infrastructure, storage, backup, and recovery systems
• Assist with network infrastructure, firewalls, VPN, segmentation, and secure connectivity
• Partner with Information Security to implement infrastructure-related controls required by ISO 27001
• Implement and maintain appropriate access controls across infrastructure systems
• Develop and maintain secure configuration standards for servers, endpoints, cloud infrastructure, and supporting platforms
• Support operating-system and infrastructure vulnerability remediation and coordinate patch deployment
• Ensure critical infrastructure systems generate appropriate security and operational logs

About you

• 5+ years of hands-on IT infrastructure engineering or systems administration experience
• Strong experience with Windows Server and Active Directory
• Experience with Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft 365
• Experience supporting enterprise virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V
• Experience with enterprise backup and disaster-recovery technologies
• Working knowledge of enterprise networking, firewalls, VPNs, DNS, DHCP, routing, and network segmentation
• Experience with server patching, vulnerability remediation, and system-hardening activities
• Strong PowerShell or other infrastructure automation skills
• Strong technical documentation skills
• Experience working within formal change-management processes
