The opportunity

We're looking for an architect who enjoys working out how a business could run better, and wants the responsibility to turn that thinking into a system people can use.

You'll be our first Solution Architect in Manila, working closely with our founders on Australian client projects.

You'll be accountable for the technical solution, using the findings from discovery to understand what the client needs and develop a design with the delivery team. Everyone at Cassidium builds. You'll work directly in the tooling to prototype ideas, configure Salesforce and build solutions alongside our developers, staying involved through delivery and go-live.

Salesforce is central to much of the work, particularly Sales Cloud and Service Cloud, alongside quoting, finance and ERP integrations, data and AI. We need someone who can think across those systems and recognise when the right answer sits elsewhere. Your understanding of technical principles should let you explore a new technology and make a reasoned call about where it belongs.

Why join Cassidium now

David and Mark founded Cassidium in Sydney in 2026. We're growing quickly, helping Australian businesses improve how they sell and serve their customers. Those projects bring us into the details of how a company operates, where people are losing time and what is stopping the business from growing. That's what gives the technical work its purpose.

We see an opportunity to change how consulting gets done. AI makes it possible to investigate systems and test ideas much earlier, so there's more scope to explore the difficult decisions before committing a client to a build. You'll help us develop that approach, using AI tooling in your own work and figuring out where it improves the team's delivery. We expect you to question its answers as carefully as you would anyone else's.

You'll also help establish how our Manila team approaches architecture. Working directly with the founders means you can put an idea forward, discuss it with the people making the decision and help put it into practice. As more developers join, you'll help choose and mentor them. It's an opportunity to extend your influence across a team while continuing to work through technical problems yourself.

The people we're looking for

You enjoy getting into the details of a technical problem and can explain why the answer matters to the business. A design decision might reduce ongoing support, save a team time or let the client introduce a new service. You should be able to discuss those consequences alongside the technical trade-offs, including what the solution will cost to build and run.

You'll need practical depth in Sales Cloud and Service Cloud, including security, automation and the data model, and be comfortable getting into the tooling to build and test your ideas. Experience or certifications in additional Salesforce clouds are valuable, too. Integration architecture should be familiar territory, including API design, asynchronous processing and platform limits. We also need clear English and the ability to discuss a design with both client leaders and developers.

We want you to question methods that make delivery slower or more complicated than it needs to be, including methods we've chosen ourselves. If you see a better approach, build enough to test it and bring the team into the discussion. Improving how we deliver is part of the role, and each project should teach us something we can use on the next.

We enjoy a good technical debate. Bring a recommendation you can explain, and take an interest in the person who sees it differently. You'll work with founders who expect to be challenged and developers who deserve to understand the reasoning behind a decision. Giving useful feedback and receiving it well are part of the work.

What you'll take on

  • Turn discovery findings and business requirements into technical designs that support the client's goals.

  • Choose how to use Salesforce configuration, code and other systems, with a clear explanation of the trade-offs.

  • Use Salesforce and AI tooling to prototype options and build the solution alongside developers.

  • Design data models, security and integrations, and test the implementation against the client's needs through delivery and go-live.

  • Get hands-on delivering client projects end to end, fully connected to the impact of your technical decisions.

  • Improve our delivery methods and mentor the Manila team as it grows.

You'll develop your consulting judgement through direct work with David, Mark and client leaders, and build your experience guiding a technical team. We'll invest in that development through mentoring and paid Salesforce certifications.

Working here

You'll manage your time around agreed delivery outcomes and the commitments you make to clients and colleagues. Expect a base of two days a week in our Mandaluyong office, with attendance varying according to project and team needs. We care about the difference your work makes for clients, and that's what we want to recognise and reward.

  • ₱170,000 to ₱210,000 a month, plus 13th month pay

  • HMO from day one for you and up to two dependents

  • 15 days of paid leave, with additional sick leave available

  • Flexible hours and hybrid work in Mandaluyong, with a base of two office days a week

  • Laptop, AI tooling and Salesforce certifications paid for

  • A monthly allowance for home internet and phone

Apply

Our assessment process revolves entirely around your technical judgement and ability to do the work, with no minimum number of years required. If you're ready for this responsibility, apply even if your current title is more junior.
