Delivery Manager
About the role
The Delivery Manager will oversee the end-to-end delivery of enterprise banking applications and technology solutions, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, securely, and in alignment with business objectives. The role involves leading cross-functional teams, managing stakeholders, mitigating delivery risks, and ensuring high-quality implementation of scalable and reliable solutions.
Key responsibilities
Manage end-to-end project delivery, from planning and design through implementation.
Lead and coordinate technical teams to ensure timely and successful project execution.
Translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, security, and technology standards.
Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and delivery timelines.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
Oversee system integration, APIs, and application development activities.
Promote Agile, DevOps, and continuous improvement practices.
Ensure compliance with performance, security, and regulatory requirements.
Drive successful delivery of banking applications and digital transformation initiatives.
About you
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in software development and enterprise application delivery.
At least 8 years of experience in a leadership, solution design, architecture, or delivery management role.
Experience in banking, financial services, or retail banking applications.
Proven experience delivering large-scale, mission-critical enterprise systems.
Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, application development lifecycle, and Agile methodologies.
Knowledge of APIs, system integration, and microservices architecture.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.
Strong leadership, project management, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and decision-making abilities.
