You're beyond basic troubleshooting and routine service desk responsibilities. You have experience working in MSP environments, handling complex technical issues, and taking ownership of systems engineering projects.

You understand that being a senior engineer means more than resolving escalated tickets. It means designing solutions, leading implementations, managing projects, improving security, and helping clients build better IT environments.

MSP Experience Is Required

A minimum of 2 years of previous MSP experience is required.

You should have experience with:

• Supporting multiple clients and diverse IT environments.

• Managing complex technical issues and escalated tickets.

• Working with different client infrastructures and technologies.

• Taking ownership of technical projects from planning through implementation.

• Communicating directly with clients and technical stakeholders.

• Coordinating with internal engineering teams and third-party vendors.

• Documenting technical implementations and project deliverables.

• Managing priorities and meeting established SLAs.

What You'll Work On

This role focuses on advanced systems engineering, project implementation, and technical consulting across Mac and Windows environments.

Systems Engineering & Projects

• macOS and Windows systems administration.

• Email, server, and data migrations.

• Tenant-to-tenant migrations.

• Mac and Windows MDM deployments, configurations, and migrations.

• SSO implementations and identity management.

• EDR/MDR deployments, migrations, and configurations.

• Security assessments and infrastructure improvements.

• SOC 2 compliance-related initiatives.

• Advanced troubleshooting and L3 escalations.

• Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and cloud infrastructure.

• Pitching and recommending systems and security solutions to clients.

Project Management & Coordination

• Manage assigned engineering projects from initial planning through implementation and completion.

• Conduct project planning meetings, progress reviews, and retrospectives using Scrum project management principles.

• Coordinate with internal engineering and consulting teams.

• Work with third-party SaaS vendors to obtain quotations, evaluate solutions, and provide client recommendations.

• Coordinate hardware procurement, software licensing, and other project requirements.

• Provide proactive project updates and communicate directly with clients.

• Identify project risks, technical challenges, and implementation requirements.

Technical Support & Team Collaboration

• Handle elevated technical tickets requiring advanced engineering knowledge.

• Provide technical guidance and escalation support to other engineers.

• Ensure assigned tickets and projects meet established SLAs.

• Monitor Engineering and Consultant team Slack channels and respond to requests promptly.

• Maintain accurate technical documentation and project records.

• Maintain a monthly billable target of 75 hours.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of previous MSP experience.

• Proven experience participating in or leading complex systems engineering projects.

• Strong hands-on experience with both macOS and Windows environments.

• Experience with Mac systems engineering, MDM, and enterprise endpoint management.

• Experience handling email and data migrations, MDM rollouts, SSO implementations, or security projects.

• CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent completed certification.

• CompTIA Security+ certification or equivalent completed security certification.

• Basic to intermediate knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Strong understanding of systems administration, infrastructure, endpoint management, and cybersecurity.

• Strong project coordination and organizational skills.

• Excellent written and spoken English.

• Confident client-facing communication and technical presentation skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.

• Based in the Philippines.

• Comfortable working hours aligned with the assigned U.S.-based MSP.

Additional Experience That Will Be Valuable:

• Jamf, Kandji, Mosyle, or Microsoft Intune.

• Apple Business Manager (ABM).

• Microsoft 365 and Entra ID.

• Okta or other SSO and identity management platforms.

• CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, Huntress, or other EDR/MDR solutions.

• SOC 2 compliance and security frameworks.

• PSA and RMM platforms such as ConnectWise, Autotask, HaloPSA, NinjaOne, Datto RMM, or N-able.
