Telemarketer

Job Summary:

A well-placed phone call can open the door to a new customer, and our confident, results-driven Cold Caller and Appointment Setter will be the one making it. You will reach out to local businesses from our prospect database, follow up on hot leads, and book in-person meetings for our owner. A natural on the phone who handles objections with ease and knows how to turn a cold conversation into a "yes" is the ideal fit.

Key Responsibilities:

- Make outbound cold calls to local businesses from our prospect database

- Introduce our services to business owners and key decision-makers

- Qualify prospects by asking the right questions and identifying the decision-maker

- Follow up quickly on hot leads that arrive through our CRM

- Book in-person meetings for our owner with interested businesses

- Handle objections professionally and keep each conversation moving toward a booked appointment

- Schedule callbacks with prospects who are not ready to commit yet

- Log call outcomes, notes, and next steps accurately in the CRM

- Track daily call activity and appointments booked

Mandatory Skills:

- Proven experience in cold calling, telemarketing, or appointment setting

- Track record of booking meetings with business owners or decision-makers

- Excellent spoken English with a clear, confident, and professional phone manner

- Strong persuasion and objection-handling skills

- Experience using a CRM to manage leads and log call activity

- Comfort working with a cloud-based phone system

- Resilient and self-motivated, able to handle rejection and stay consistent

- Methodical, trustworthy, and effective without day-to-day direction

- Strong communication skills

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with GoHighLevel

- Experience with Quo (formerly OpenPhone) or a similar VoIP phone system

- B2B sales experience, especially calling local or service-based businesses

- Experience working through lead lists and prospect databases

- Ability to learn a new product or service quickly and explain it clearly

- Experience handling inbound customer calls or phone support

- Comfortable sequencing several tasks and priorities at once and delivering each on schedule
