Casual Store Person / Delivery Driver

CASUAL STORE PERSON/DELIVERY DRIVER REQUIRED

Milestone Chemicals Australia manufactures and supplies commercial cleaning chemicals and accessories to a broad and diverse customer base. With more than 75 years of experience, we are a well-established and highly regarded Australian organisation.

We are looking for a reliable and energetic Casual Storeperson / Delivery Driver to join our Wetherill Park branch.

This is primarily a warehouse-based casual role, with deliveries to customers throughout Sydney and surrounding areas required on an ad hoc basis.

The role includes:

• Picking and packing customer orders

• Receiving and checking inward goods

• Loading and unloading delivery vehicles

• General warehouse duties and stocktaking

• Recording pallet movements

• Operating a forklift safely within the warehouse

• Delivering goods to customers when required

• Complying with WHS requirements and company procedures

To be successful, you must have:

• A current LF Forklift Licence and forklift experience

• A current car Driver Licence and good driving record

• Warehousing experience and knowledge

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• A reliable, responsible and professional approach

• The ability to safely lift items weighing up to 25 kg regularly throughout the day

• The ability to work independently and as part of a team

• The ability to work cooperatively and respectfully with experienced, long-standing team members

• A strong work ethic and willingness to assist wherever required

An MR or HR Driver Licence would be highly regarded but is not essential.

Monday to Friday only, no weekends!

The successful applicant will be required to provide current licence details and driving history, including a licence points report, and may be required to complete a pre-employment medical assessment.
