Systems Architect

Summary

We are looking for an experienced Systems Architect who can lead the design and development of enterprise-level IT solutions while also taking ownership of requirements management. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical architecture background, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to lead business requirements activities.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise systems architecture aligned with business and technology objectives.

• Evaluate existing systems and recommend architectural improvements to ensure scalability, security, and performance.

• Define system integration strategies and translate business needs into technical architecture and solution designs.

• Lead requirements gathering, analysis, documentation, and validation with business stakeholders.

• Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.

• Facilitate requirements workshops and discussions with business users, IT teams, and external vendors.

• Lead and oversee Business Analysts or Requirements Analysts in managing requirements delivery.

• Manage requirements prioritization, changes, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations.

• Provide technical guidance throughout the system development and implementation lifecycle.

• Ensure solutions comply with enterprise architecture standards, IT policies, and security requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

• At least 5 years of relevant IT experience in systems development, systems analysis, solution architecture, or enterprise architecture.

• Strong experience in Systems Architecture, Solution Architecture, or Technical Architecture.

• Solid background in requirements gathering, business analysis, and functional and technical documentation.

• Experience leading or managing Business Analysts or Requirements Management teams.

• Knowledge of enterprise systems integration, API architecture, databases, and application design.

• Familiarity with SDLC, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to translate complex business requirements into practical technical solutions.
