MIG Welder/ Boilermaker - Kyneton

Connectus Recruitment is seeking an experienced MIG Welder/ Boilermakers for an established structural steel manufacturing facility based in Kyneton, VIC.
This is a short term opportunity commencing mid November through to mid December, offering approximately 4 weeks of consistent work.
The role is primarily welding, with little to no fabrication required. All components will be pre tacked and quality checked before reaching the welding bay, allowing you to focus on welding.

What's on Offer:

• $50 per hour + daily travel allowance + superannuation
• Monday to Friday – 5:00am to 1:00pm
• Approximately 4 weeks of work
• Potential for occasional overtime
• Established structural steel manufacturing environment
• Welding-focused role with minimal fabrication required

About the Role:

• MIG welding of mild steel ranging from 3mm to 25mm thickness
• Predominantly 6mm continuous fillet welds (CFW)
• All welding performed in the horizontal position
• Working with pre tacked and quality checked steel components
• Producing consistent, high-quality welds to required specifications
• Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment

What We're Looking For:

• Previous MIG welding experience, ideally within structural steel manufacturing
• Confident welding mild steel across various thicknesses
• Ability to produce consistent, high quality fillet welds
• Ability to work independently and meet production requirements
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
• Own welding helmet required (Adflo welding helmet preferred)
• Reliable transport to Kyneton and availability for 5am starts
• Available to commence mid November
