Delivery Driver - HR/MR

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Delivery Driver - HR/MR to join the team at Labourforce Impex Personnel Pty Ltd. This is a Casual position based in Dry Creek, SA 5094. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of goods to customers across our distribution network. This role is crucial to our logistics operations, ensuring that products reach their destinations on time and in excellent condition, whilst maintaining the highest standards of customer service and safety compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and safely drive HR/MR vehicles to deliver goods to designated customers and locations

• Cash Handling

• Plan and optimise delivery routes to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries

• Load and unload goods from vehicles, ensuring items are handled carefully and securely

• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including documentation, signatures and delivery confirmations

• Communicate professionally with customers and address any queries or concerns regarding deliveries

• Report any vehicle maintenance issues or damage promptly to management

• Maintain a clean and organised vehicle at all times

What we're looking for

• Valid HR or MR driving licence (essential requirement)

• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a delivery driver or in a similar driving role

• Excellent driving record with a strong safety focus and commitment to compliance

• Good physical fitness and ability to lift and carry goods regularly

• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple deliveries

• Excellent customer service skills and professional demeanour

• Reliability and punctuality in meeting delivery schedules

• Basic computer literacy for recording deliveries and managing documentation

• Knowledge of the local Dry Creek area and surrounding regions is advantageous

• Current First Aid certification or willingness to obtain one

• Police clearance and a clean driving history
