IT Intern

About the role

Wonderzyme Inc. is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated IT Intern to join our Help Desk & IT Support team. This is a full-time internship opportunity based in Mandaluyong City, Metro Manila. As an IT Intern, you will gain valuable hands-on experience in information technology support whilst working alongside experienced professionals. This role is designed to provide you with practical exposure to IT operations, user support, and technical troubleshooting in a dynamic business environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support to end-users via phone, email, and in-person assistance

• Troubleshoot and resolve common hardware and software issues

• Document and track support tickets using the company's helpdesk management system

• Assist with the installation and configuration of software applications and operating systems

• Perform basic network diagnostics and connectivity troubleshooting

• Support the maintenance and organisation of IT equipment inventory

• Assist senior IT staff with on-site support visits and deployments

• Contribute to the creation of technical documentation and user guides

• Escalate complex issues to senior technical staff when necessary

What we're looking for

• Currently enrolled in or recently completed a diploma or degree programme in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field

• Basic knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows, macOS, or Linux), and software applications

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to interact with diverse users

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow instructions

• Organisational skills and attention to detail

• Willingness to learn new technologies and technical concepts

• Familiarity with ticketing systems or helpdesk platforms (preferred)

• Basic knowledge of networking principles and IT security awareness (preferred)
