Supportive Role in a Private Home

We are looking for a cook/carer to provide cooking, cleaning and caring services for an older but independent man.

This position is based in a private home located close to the CBD. We require someone to work a roster of around 4:00pm to 8:00pm each weekday evening. Flexibility is key, and some driving may be required for errands and appointments.

Attributes Required

• Strong cooking experience, particularly mediterranean cuisine

• Knowledge of safe cleaning techniques and basic food hygiene

• Strong communication and organisational skills

• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently

• Demonstrates reliability, trustworthiness, and respect

• Current police check and relevant clearances, if applicable

• First Aid Certificate is desirable

• Current valid driver’s licence and safe driving record

Working Conditions

This role focuses on providing nutritious and high-quality evening meals for the client. Carer experience would be considered an advantage, as it may contribute to awareness of health, safety, and wellbeing in the home. The role may also require driving for errands as needed and includes the care of small household pets.
