Senior Solution Architect

AVENSYS CONSULTING INC. is seeking a talented Solution Architect to join our growing team in Makati City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a critical role in shaping, designing, and governing enterprise technology solutions that support business transformation and strategic growth. As a Solution Architect, you will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, engineering teams, security teams, and enterprise architects to define scalable, secure, and sustainable solutions that align with organizational objectives and enterprise standards.

This position is essential to driving technology innovation, guiding architecture decisions, and ensuring the successful delivery of business-aligned solutions that balance performance, security, operational supportability, cost, and long-term sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop enterprise solution architectures that align business requirements, technical constraints, and strategic objectives with enterprise technology standards.

• Lead architecture discussions and provide technical direction for strategic initiatives, technology modernization efforts, and complex business challenges.

• Evaluate technology options, identify benefits, risks, and trade-offs, and recommend fit-for-purpose solutions that support business outcomes.

• Create and maintain solution blueprints, architecture diagrams, target-state architectures, transition strategies, and implementation roadmaps.

• Design scalable, secure, resilient, and operationally sustainable solutions across cloud, application, integration, infrastructure, and platform domains.

• Partner with engineering, operations, security, product, and business teams to ensure alignment between architecture decisions and delivery objectives.

• Facilitate architecture reviews, technical assessments, solution discovery workshops, proof-of-concept activities, and design governance processes.

• Identify technical debt, implementation risks, dependencies, operational impacts, and compliance requirements early in the delivery lifecycle.

• Support delivery teams throughout the software and solution development lifecycle, ensuring adherence to approved architecture principles and standards.

• Communicate architecture decisions, solution recommendations, trade-offs, and risks to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Promote simplification, standardization, automation, reusability, and continuous improvement across technology platforms and delivery practices.

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship by guiding teams through ambiguity, influencing decision-making, and fostering architectural best practices.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering, platform engineering, cloud engineering, infrastructure engineering, DevOps, automation, database engineering, or related technical domains.

• Demonstrated experience designing, leading, or governing enterprise technology solutions within complex business and technical environments.

• Strong background in solution architecture, systems thinking, technical analysis, and architecture documentation.

• Experience translating business requirements into scalable, supportable, and secure technology solutions.

• Broad technical knowledge across cloud platforms, enterprise infrastructure, software engineering, automation, integration technologies, and operational environments.

• Experience with CI/CD platforms and source control technologies, including GitHub, Azure DevOps, GitLab, Jenkins, or equivalent tools.

• Working knowledge of programming or automation technologies such as Python, PowerShell, Go, C, or similar languages.

• Experience designing or evaluating integrations using REST APIs, workflow automation technologies, JSON, YAML, and related integration patterns.

• Strong understanding of security, identity management, resiliency, observability, monitoring, and operational supportability principles.

• Proven ability to identify and manage technical, operational, delivery, and organizational risks while evaluating architecture trade-offs.

• Strong communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, and presentation skills with the ability to influence decisions across multiple teams.

• Experience working within Agile, SAFe, DevOps, or similar modern delivery environments.

• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced and evolving enterprise environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing and supporting solutions within hybrid-cloud, multi-cloud, or enterprise-scale technology environments.

• Exposure to enterprise architecture frameworks, architecture governance, and technology strategy development.

• Experience conducting technical assessments, architecture reviews, proof-of-concepts, and solution evaluation activities.

• Understanding of operational support models, incident management processes, lifecycle management, and production readiness practices.

• Experience developing technology roadmaps, transition strategies, and modernization initiatives.

• Familiarity with automation, infrastructure-as-code, platform engineering, and modern software delivery practices.

• Experience supporting security, compliance, and risk management initiatives across enterprise technology platforms.

• Professional certifications related to cloud platforms, solution architecture, enterprise architecture, or project delivery frameworks are highly desirable.
