SAP CONSULTANT (FICO)

ABOUT THE ROLE

Trends Group Inc. is looking for a qualified SAP Consultant (FICO) to support SAP implementation, enhancement, maintenance, and support activities, with a focus on Finance and Controlling processes.

The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, translate them into SAP solutions, support system configuration and testing, troubleshoot issues, and provide functional assistance to end users.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Requirements Gathering and Business Analysis

• Gather, validate, and analyze business requirements in collaboration with stakeholders.

• Translate business needs into functional specifications and process requirements.

• Identify process gaps and recommend appropriate SAP solutions aligned with business objectives.

1. SAP Configuration and Functional Support

• Assist in configuring SAP FICO functionalities, system settings, and master data based on approved business requirements.

• Support SAP implementation, enhancements, system validation, and deployment activities.

• Troubleshoot SAP FICO issues, provide functional support, and coordinate escalations when necessary.

• Collaborate with technical teams and other SAP consultants to resolve system issues and support business operations.

1. Testing and Quality Assurance

• Support unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT), including test preparation and validation.

• Document, monitor, and track system defects, issues, business impacts, and required corrective actions.

• Validate system functionality to ensure solutions meet business requirements and quality standards.

• Assist in resolving testing issues and verifying fixes before deployment.

1. Documentation and Compliance

• Prepare and maintain business process documentation, user guides, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

• Document SAP system changes, configurations, testing results, and approvals for traceability.

• Support audit, governance, and compliance documentation requirements.

• Ensure documentation is accurate, complete, and up to date.

1. User Support and Training

• Provide SAP FICO functional support, issue resolution, validation, and escalation as required.

• Assist in user training, system walkthroughs, and knowledge transfer sessions.

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams during SAP implementation, enhancement, and support activities.

• Help end users understand SAP processes and follow established system procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Two to three years of experience in SAP FICO support, implementation, or related SAP projects.

• Exposure to other SAP modules, such as Materials Management (MM), Sales and Distribution (SD), or Project System (PS), is an advantage.

Technical Skills and Competencies

• Practical experience in SAP FICO configuration and functional support.

• Understanding of Finance and Controlling business processes and their application in SAP.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

• Good communication and stakeholder coordination skills.

• Attention to detail and strong documentation skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

• Willingness to learn, adapt, and keep up with evolving SAP technologies and best practices.
