Are you a Technical Business Systems Analyst with a strong technical background and a passion for solving complex business problems?

We are looking for a hands-on Technical Business Systems Analyst who can bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams. This role is ideal for someone who started their career in a technical role such as Software Development, Systems Development, Data Engineering, QA, or Application Support and later transitioned into Business Analysis.

This is a technical-first BA role (60% technical, 40% business) where you will work closely with developers, data engineers, QA teams, and business stakeholders to deliver software, integration, and data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Gather and analyze business and technical requirements

Create functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, and business rules

Develop process flow diagrams, data flow diagrams (DFDs), ERDs, and system documentation

Perform data analysis, SQL validation, root cause investigations, and system troubleshooting

Analyze APIs, integrations, application logs, JSON payloads, and database schemas

Build wireframes, mockups, and workflow prototypes

Develop test plans, test cases, and support UAT activities

Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and data teams throughout the SDLC

Investigate defects, validate fixes, and ensure business requirements are met

Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, or Systems Analyst

Strong experience gathering and translating requirements into technical specifications

Solid understanding of relational databases, data modeling, primary/foreign keys, and data integrity

Proficiency in SQL for data investigation and validation

Experience with APIs, integrations, data transformations, and system dependencies

Experience creating process flows, DFDs, ERDs, and wireframes

Experience developing test plans, test cases, and managing defects

Ability to interpret JSON, API documentation, application logs, database schemas, and technical artifacts

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Ideal Background

We highly prefer candidates who have:

Experience working in technical roles such as Software Developer, Programmer, Data Engineer, QA Engineer, Systems Analyst, or Application Support before moving into Business Analysis.

Strong technical troubleshooting and systems investigation experience.

Must currently reside in Metro Manila or neighboring cities/provinces

Must be legally authorized to work in the Philippines
