Our client, a leading coffin manufacturer and distributor, is seeking a reliable MR Truck Driver for a short-term assignment delivering coffins to funeral homes across Sydney.

The assignment is expected to run for one week to 10 days, with the possibility of future on-call work. Hours are approximately 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, Monday to Friday.

About the role

You will deliver coffins to funeral homes across Sydney's metropolitan area and assist with loading and unloading.

This role requires a careful and cautious approach at all times. You will take care when driving, making deliveries and handling products to ensure they arrive safely and in good condition.

You will also represent our client when visiting funeral homes, so a professional appearance and respectful manner are essential.

Please be aware that there may be occasions when you are exposed to a deceased person in a coffin. Before applying, consider whether you are comfortable working in this environment.

What you will need

• A current MR licence or higher

• Experience driving throughout Sydney's metropolitan area

• Willingness to assist with loading and unloading

• A careful approach to driving and handling deliveries

• Clear communication and good customer service skills

• A well-presented and respectful manner

• Contactable work references

Experience in removals or a similar industry is highly regarded but not essential.
