Machine Operator / Production Assistant

Hindustan Imports is a family-owned processor and packer of food ingredients (including seeds, grains, nuts, herbs and spices) for the food service and retail grocery industry. 

We are seeking an experienced production assistant / machine operator for immediate start to join our team in Dandenong, Victoria.

Key responsibilities

• Operating food processing and packing equipment, including vertical form-fill-seal machines.

• Pre and post cleaning of equipment to the highest standards of quality and cleanliness

• Some manual repetitive lifting up to 25kg

• Work closely with other members of the production and warehouse teams

• Other general duties connected with food processing

Qualifications and skills

• Experience working in food industry processing /packaging equipment's

• Sound mechanical abilities and basic computer literacy

• Attention to detail and good communication skills

Remuneration:

• Casual role, leading to permanent full time

• 38 hours per week

• $32.18 per hour plus superannuation
