Machine Operator - Rubber Compound Mixing (Bunbury) Operation

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Operate equipment used in rubber compound mixing such as the Mixer, Convex Extruder and Automatic palletising
• Operate the automatic chemical weighing and bagging system
• Forklift driving, storage and preparation of raw material and finished product
• Daily checks of the machinery safety system to ensure that it is always in an operational and safe condition
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process efficiency and product quality
• Operate in accordance with environmental management standards
• Check and maintain cleanliness and orderliness around machinery and operating points

What We’re Looking For:

• A pre-employment medical and laboratory drug and alcohol test, including additional testing is required as part of our health and safety commitment
• We’re looking for motivated individuals with attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety
• Experience within a heavy industrial manufacturing environment
• Experience operating plant and machinery
• Hold full working rights in Australia 
• A valid Australian driver’s licence  
• Hold a forklift ticket
• Currently on offer are fixed term contract and permanent positions

Roster:
Must be available to work a rotating day and night shift roster, consisting of 4 shifts on, followed by 3 days off, with a varying cycle of 3 and 4 shifts on and off
