Forklift Operators - Reach Experience

About the role

Labourforce AUS is seeking experienced Forklift Operators with Reach experience to join our dynamic warehousing and distribution team in Edinburgh. This is a Casual offering an exciting opportunity to work within a fast-paced logistics environment. Based in Edinburgh SA , this role is integral to our warehouse operations, ensuring efficient movement, storage and dispatch of goods. As a Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in maintaining smooth daily operations and contributing to the overall success of our distribution centre.

Freezer environment (-2O Degrees)
IMMEDIATE START
Monday - Friday - Afternoon shift 2pm starts

Key responsibilities

• Operate reach forklifts safely and efficiently to move, stack and store goods within the warehouse

• Load and unload delivery vehicles, ensuring goods are handled with care to prevent damage

• Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and warehouse transactions

• Conduct daily safety checks on forklift equipment and report any maintenance issues

• Work collaboratively with warehouse team members to meet productivity targets and deadlines

• Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations and warehouse protocols

• Assist with organising stock and maintaining a clean and tidy warehouse environment

• Respond promptly to instructions from supervisors and warehouse management

What we're looking for

• Current and valid Forklift Operator Licence with demonstrated reach experience

• Proven experience operating reach forklifts in a warehouse or distribution environment

• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations in warehousing operations

• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety

• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team

• Good communication skills and reliability in attendance

• Physical capability to perform warehouse duties and operate machinery

• Willingness to follow instructions and comply with company policies
