TRUCK BODY BUILDER / FABRICATOR – MECHANICAL BACKGROUND ADVANTAGE

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Truck Body Builder / Fabricator who takes pride in their work and has a practical, can-do attitude.

The ideal candidate will have fabrication and MIG welding experience, with a mechanical background highly regarded. Experience working with trucks, heavy vehicles, trailers or hydraulic equipment would be an advantage.

NX Level Truck Bodies is continuing to grow, and we're currently in the process of introducing something new and exciting to our business. This new addition will open up further opportunities within our workshop and requires someone with a strong mechanical background.

We're looking for the right person to join us at this exciting stage of our growth, someone who enjoys hands-on work, has sound mechanical knowledge and is keen to be involved in developing something new alongside our existing truck body manufacturing operations.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Fabrication and MIG welding of steel truck bodies and components.

• Assembly and fitting of truck bodies and associated equipment.

• Reading and working from measurements, drawings and job specifications.

• Using workshop tools and equipment safely.

• Maintaining a clean and organised work area.

• Working as part of a team to complete jobs to a high standard.

Skills and Experience

• Fabrication and MIG welding experience is essential.

• Mechanical experience is highly regarded.

• Experience with trucks, heavy vehicles, trailers, hydraulics, tailgate lifters, auto electrical work or mechanical fitting will be an advantage.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Reliable, punctual and hardworking, with a strong work ethic.

• Good attention to detail and pride in producing quality work.

Working Hours

• Monday to Thursday: 6:00 am – 3:00 pm

• Friday: 6:00 am – 12:00 pm
