IT Intern
About the role
Salon de Rose is looking for a motivated and technology-driven IT Support Intern to join our IT team. This internship provides hands-on experience in providing technical support, maintaining computer systems and networks, and assisting with the installation and maintenance of hardware and software across our salon branches.
Key responsibilities
Provide technical support for hardware, software, network, POS system, and desktop application issues.
Troubleshoot and resolve IT-related concerns remotely or through onsite branch visits when necessary.
Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer hardware, software, printers, network devices, and other IT equipment.
Support the setup and maintenance of CCTV systems.
Perform preventive maintenance and basic diagnostics on computer systems.
Assist in maintaining computer networks to ensure smooth business operations.
Document technical issues and provide updates on completed tasks.
Perform other IT-related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
About you
Currently taking up a Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or any computer-related course.
Knowledge of basic to advanced networking and PC troubleshooting.
Familiar with CCTV installation and setup.
Willing to learn new technologies and adapt to different IT environments.
Flexible, responsible, and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
Background in programming is an advantage.
