About the role
As a Kitchen Hand, you will play an essential role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our kitchen. You will work closely with our culinary team to maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and organisation.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene throughout the kitchen, including equipment, utensils and work areas.
- Wash dishes, pots, pans and kitchen equipment efficiently.
- Assist chefs with basic food preparation as required.
- Ensure kitchen equipment and workstations are cleaned and sanitised.
- Support the kitchen team during busy service periods.
- Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety procedures.
- Assist with waste management, stock organisation and general kitchen duties.
About you
- Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Is reliable, punctual and a great team player.
- Can work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Is flexible to work weekends, evenings and public holidays.
- Has previous kitchen or hospitality experience (preferred but not essential).
- Is willing to learn and support the wider kitchen team.
