Production Operators - Heidelberg West (Casual)

About the Role

We’re looking for experienced Production Operators to join our Heidelberg West team. In this hands-on role, you’ll help keep production running smoothly by operating equipment, preparing and handling ingredients, completing batch documentation and carrying out quality checks. If you have experience in food manufacturing, a good eye for detail and a strong commitment to food safety, we’d love to hear from you!

Your Set Shifts at a Glance

• Monday to Friday - 8:00am to 4:30pm

What Your Day Looks Like

• Follow direction from the Production Manager and Team Lead to deliver production targets on time
• Operating and monitoring production equipment to meet safety, quality, and output targets
• Following GMP, HACCP, and food safety standards at all times
• Completing batch documentation and production records accurately
• Performing basic calculations for batching, measurements, and production requirements
• Performing basic troubleshooting and equipment checks to keep production running smoothly
• Conducting quality checks to ensure products meet specifications
• Working closely with the team to deliver on daily production plans
• Identifying, supporting and participating in continuous improvement opportunities

To be successful in this role, you'll bring:

• Prior experience in food manufacturing or food production environments (highly desirable)
• Strong understanding of GMP, HACCP, and quality standards
• Basic maths skills, with the ability to perform accurate calculations and measurements
• High attention to detail and commitment to producing quality products
• Proactive, reliable, and hands-on approach
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to adapt in a fast-paced setting
• Physically fit and able to roll up their sleeves and perform manual tasks (including lifting up to 15kg)
• Forklift license (highly desirable)
