Hotel Manager

About the role

Sotogrande Hotel & Resorts is looking for a Hotel Manager to oversee the daily business and operational functions of a lodging facility, such as a hotel, resort, or inn. The primary goal is to ensure high guest satisfaction, maintain profitability, and enforce safety and brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, maintenance, and security departments

• Monitor revenue, prepare and control budgets, manage expenses, and analyze financial reports to maximize profitability

• Hire, train, schedule, supervise, and evaluate staff members while fostering a positive work culture

• Welcome guests, handle VIPs, and resolve escalated service complaints or recovery issues

• Coordinate local marketing initiatives, manage corporate bookings, and work to boost occupancy rates

• Ensure the property complies with local licensing laws, health regulations, building security, and fire safety codes

About you

• A bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field is often preferred, though experience through internal promotion or vocational training is also common

• 2 to 5+ years of supervisory or managerial experience in the hospitality industry

• Strong leadership, financial acumen, problem-solving abilities, multi-tasking skills, and clear verbal/written communication

• Familiarity with hotel property management systems (Ezee Absolute) and standard office software

• Willing to relocate to other hotel properties
