Cleaning & Laundry Staff needed - Full-time & part-time

About the role

Zelo Australia Pty Ltd is seeking Cleaning & Laundry Staff to join our team on a part-time basis in Farrer, ACT. This is a hands-on role that plays a vital part in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene standards of our facilities. As a member of our cleaning and laundry team, you will ensure that all areas are kept to the highest standards, contributing directly to a safe, welcoming environment for our clients and visitors. This role offers flexibility and the opportunity to be part of a dedicated team committed to excellence in cleaning and laundry services.

Key responsibilities

• Managing laundry operations including washing, drying, folding and ironing of linens and garments to required standards

• General cleaning duties including vacuuming, mopping, dusting and sanitising all designated areas

• Maintaining cleanliness of Resident rooms, bathrooms, kitchens and communal spaces using appropriate cleaning products and equipment

• Stocking and replenishing cleaning supplies and materials as needed

• Emptying bins and disposing of waste in accordance with health and safety protocols

• Operating cleaning equipment safely and effectively

• Following all cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure consistent quality

• Reporting any maintenance issues or hazards to management promptly

• Maintaining a professional appearance and adhering to health and hygiene standards at all times

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in cleaning and laundry services or a similar role is highly desirable

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Physical fitness and capability to perform manual cleaning tasks throughout your shift

• Reliability and punctuality, with the ability to work the scheduled part-time hours consistently

• Good understanding of health and safety protocols in cleaning environments

• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment and laundry procedures

• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
