Forklift Operators | Coopers Plains

Precision Labour Hire is currently seeking an experienced Forklift Operator for an ongoing afternoon-shift opportunity at a busy steel distribution facility based in Coopers Plains.

This role involves operating large-capacity forklifts to move, load and unload steel products, along with assisting with despatch and load-restraint checks.

Shift Details:

• Monday to Friday

• 2:30pm – 10:30pm

• Ongoing afternoon shift

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating large-capacity forklifts fitted with probe and tyne attachments

• Loading and unloading trucks and shipping containers

• Moving and organising steel products and materials

• Marking loads for despatch

• Completing secondary load-restraint checks using a tablet or computer

• Assisting with general despatch duties as required

Skills & Experience:

• Current LF Forklift Licence

• Minimum 12 months' forklift operating experience

• Demonstrated experience operating large-capacity forklifts

• Experience using probe and tyne attachments

• Background in steel, transport, manufacturing or heavy industrial environments

• Strong safety awareness and attention to detail

• Comfortable using tablets and computer systems

• Reliable transport and a strong work ethic

• Unrestricted Australian working rights

Previous steel industry experience, particularly handling steel coils, will be highly regarded.
