About the Opportunity
Elcore Electrics is after licensed electricians to join our Perth team out of Malaga.

You’ll run your own work from a fully stocked vehicle across a solid mix of commercial, industrial maintenance, insurance and Perth-based project work. No two weeks are the same, and you’re home every night.

If you want to boost your earnings, you’ll also have the option to jump on short FIFO stints with our site crews. That covers ad hoc projects, shutdowns and backfilling swings on mine sites around WA. It’s your call: put your hand up when it suits you, and stay home when it doesn’t.

We’ve grown fast by being picky about who we hire. You’ll be working with a tight crew of good trades who back each other up, with direct access to management when you need it.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Commercial installs, fit-outs, upgrades and maintenance

• Industrial maintenance, breakdowns and fault-finding

• Perth-based project work

• Insurance work: make-safes, assessments, reports and repairs

• Refrigeration and air conditioning work (if ticketed)

• Optional short FIFO trips: site projects, shutdowns and backfill

What You’ll Need
Mandatory:

• WA Electrical Licence

• Manual driver’s licence

• White Card

• Confident working on your own and dealing with clients

Highly regarded:

• Refrigerant Handling Licence

• Instrumentation or other trade qualifications

• Commercial or industrial maintenance experience

• Strong fault-finding skills

• EWP, Working at Heights, LVR/CPR

• Mine site experience or current site medical (for FIFO work)

Rates
$55–$60/hr + penalties + super, depending on experience. Higher rates for additional qualifications and experience, such as refrigeration or instrumentation. FIFO trips are paid on top, so it’s a straightforward way to make extra cash when you want it.
