Security Guard/Supervisor
About the role
Diplomatic Protection Group is a bespoke security company based primarily in Canberra - with a client base Australia wide. We are seeking an experienced and highly professional Security Guard / Armed Security Officer to join our growing team. This is an opportunity for a motivated security professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and can demonstrate strong leadership, exceptional communication skills, and extensive operational security experience. The successful candidate will play a key role in supervising security personnel, maintaining high operational standards, and ensuring the safety and security of clients, assets, and personnel. This role requires someone who has a Certificate 3 in Security Operations - please do not apply unless you have police, military or firearms handling background and the ability to obtain an employment firearm licence.

About you
Certificate II in Security Operations
Certificate III in Security Operations
Current ACT Security Licence
Demonstrated firearms experience and competency (essential)
Firearms H class licence or ability to obtain
Current driver's licence
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Professional presentation and appearance
Proven ability to lead, mentor, and supervise security personnel
Former Police or Military experience (highly desirable)
