Full Time Yardie | Logistics Team Member

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable, hardworking and motivated Full-Time Yardie/Logistics Officer to join our team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys physical work, working as part of a team and being involved in the day-to-day operations of a busy scaffolding business.

Based predominantly at our Wetherill Park depot, you may also be required to work at Garden Island and various construction sites across the Sydney metropolitan area.

Working hours will vary depending on operational requirements, with start and finish times generally falling between 5:00 am and 4:00 pm.

Key Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading trucks safely and efficiently

• Carrying out general yard duties and manual labour

• Sorting, organising and maintaining equipment

• Driving trucks and delivering stock and equipment to various locations

• Assisting with deliveries and equipment movements at construction sites

• Supporting site teams with general labouring and operational tasks

• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised yard and work environment

• Following all workplace health and safety procedures

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A minimum of one year's industry experience in logistics, warehousing, equipment handling, yard operations or a similar role

• A current and valid driver's licence

• The ability and confidence to drive a manual vehicle

• A strong work ethic and a reliable, punctual attitude

• The physical fitness required for manual handling and labour-intensive duties

• Must be able to successfully obtain a police check and any required security clearances

• Australian citizenship will be required as part of the security clearance requirements

• Must be willing to undergo a pre-employment medical assessment and meet the fitness-for-work requirements of the role

• Willingness to undergo a medical and ensure Fitness to Work

• The ability to work independently and as part of a team

• A safety-first mindset and a willingness to learn

Desirable (But Not Essential)

• A current forklift licence

• An MR (Medium Rigid) driver's licence

• White Card
