Diesel Mechanic / Heavy Vehicles 

We are currently seeking qualified Diesel Mechanics to assist in the repairs and maintenance of heavy vehicles on a full-time basis for night shift. We are a family owned and operated business located in Altona North. 

Your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Service, repairs & maintenance of heavy vehicles & trailers

• Preventative maintenance & inspections

• Fault finding & troubleshooting

• Breakdown repairs when required

• Experience building engines preferred but not essential

• Completion of job cards & service sheets

• Other related workshop duties

To be a successful applicant you will require the following:

• Trade qualification

• Outstanding mechanical skills

• Ability to work unsupervised

• A can-do attitude & desire to take on challenges

• Own tools/toolbox

• Diagnostic skills

• Current driver licence

• Knowledge of OH&S requirements in a busy mechanical workshop

• Strong communication skills
