About the Opportunity

Prestige Recruitment and Labour Hire is currently seeking reliable, motivated and hardworking Pick Packers / Distribution Centre Storeworkers to join a busy, fast-paced distribution centre.

We have multiple opportunities available across various departments, with day and afternoon shifts to suit different availability.

Permanent Employment Opportunities: After approximately 3–4 months of successful employment, our client may offer suitable candidates a permanent full-time position. Alternatively, you can choose to remain employed through Prestige Labour Hire.

Hourly Pay Rates

• Day Shift: $33.85 per hour

• Afternoon Shift: $37.91 per hour

• Saturday: $47.39 per hour

• Sunday: $60.93 per hour

Available Shift Times

Initial Training Hours: 7:00 am – 2:00 pm

Available shifts include:

• Morning Shift: 6:00 am – 2:30 pm

• Day Shift: 8:30 am – 7:00 pm

• Afternoon Shift: 1:00 pm – 9:00 pm

Shift availability and working hours may vary depending on operational requirements.

Available Warehouse Departments

We are recruiting across several distribution centre departments, including:

• Dry Goods: Picking, packing and handling general grocery and dry products.

• Cold / Perishables: Working in temperature-controlled environments handling fresh and perishable products.

• ALM – Australian Liquor Marketers: Picking and preparing liquor orders for distribution. Afternoon shift: 1:00 pm – 9:00 pm.

• CSD – Convenience Store Delivery: Fast-paced, high-volume order picking and packing, similar to an Amazon-style fulfilment operation.

Key Responsibilities

Your duties may include:

• Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently.

• Using RF scanners and warehouse management systems.

• Receiving, sorting and locating incoming stock.

• Packing, labelling and preparing orders for dispatch.

• Replenishing stock and maintaining warehouse inventory.

• Building, wrapping and preparing pallets.

• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.

• Meeting daily productivity, accuracy and safety targets.

• Working as part of a team in a fast-paced distribution centre.

What We're Looking For

To be considered for these positions, applicants must:

• Be reliable, punctual and committed to their allocated shifts.

• Be physically fit and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

• Have good attention to detail and a positive attitude.

• Be able to work both independently and as part of a team.

• Hold a valid driver's licence.

• Provide a current National Police Clearance.

• Be willing and able to complete a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.

Previous warehouse, picking and packing, or RF scanning experience will be highly regarded.
