Machine Operator

About the role

This is a machine operating role based from our office in either Brendale, QLD or Pakenham, VIC. You will be responsible for safe operation of plant and vehicles at project locations all over Australia, with regular interstate work as needed and ad-hoc duties between projects. You will work as part of a small team on new installation and maintenance projects for equestrian surfaces.

Key responsibilities

• Safe operation of plant and vehicles at project locations all over Australia, primarily Skid Steer/Track Loader

• Completing pre-start procedures on plant and vehicles prior to operation

• Working closely within a small team to complete new installation and maintenance projects

• Management of basic maintenance on equipment and plant

• Stock management and movement

About you

• 2+ years operating experience with Skid Steer/Track Loader (Required)

• White Card (Required)

• Manual Licence with clean driving record (Required)

• Experience operating Excavators, Tractors, Dumpers or similar plant (Preferable)

• Final Trim experience (Preferable)

• HC/MC License (Preferable)

• Willingness to work effectively within a small team and unsupervised

• Take pride in their work and have a high level of attention to detail

• Ability to work independently, use initiative and be a proactive problem solver

• Right to work in Australia
