  • Onsite parking

  • Stable employment with an Australian manufacturer operating for over 70 years

  • Standard hours: Monday–Thursday, 6am–3pm | Friday, 6am–10am.

Alternative arrangements, including a 4-day week or 9-day fortnight, can be negotiated to suit operational requirements.

What you'll be doing

Working alongside our Maintenance Supervisor and maintenance team, you'll help keep our manufacturing equipment safe, reliable and productive.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Electrical fault finding, troubleshooting and breakdown repairs

  • Preventative maintenance across industrial machinery

  • Diagnosing electrical and control system faults

  • Maintaining motors, drives and electrical components

  • Supporting machinery installations, upgrades and improvement projects

  • Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics

  • Working with production teams to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime

You'll need:

  • A current Queensland Electrical Licence

  • Experience in industrial electrical maintenance or a similar environment

  • Strong electrical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills

  • The ability to read and interpret electrical drawings

  • A practical, safety-focused approach

  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team

Experience with PLCs, variable speed drives, automated equipment or manufacturing machinery would be highly regarded.

You don't need to know every machine we operate, but you should be confident in your technical abilities and willing to learn.
