Hours and pay

• Employment type: Casual

• Hours: Regular hours may be available; hours are not guaranteed

• Working days: Monday to Friday

• Working times: Services are scheduled between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm

• Casual rate: $33.85 per hour, plus superannuation and applicable penalty rates

Roster options may vary depending on client requirements and your availability.

About the role

You will provide cleaning services at residential client locations in Victor Harbour.

Your duties may include:

• Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping

• Cleaning kitchens and common areas

• Cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms and amenities

• Emptying bins and replacing liners

• Dusting and wiping surfaces

• Using cleaning products and equipment safely

• Following client instructions and workplace safety procedures

• Identifying and reporting hazards

• Maintaining Alert’s quality and customer-service standards

What we are looking for

We are looking for people who are dependable, respectful and take pride in delivering quality work.

Previous commercial or residential cleaning experience is preferred; however, applicants with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn are also encouraged to apply.

Essential requirements

To be considered, you must have:

✓ A current National Police Check
✓ A current driver’s licence
✓ Your own reliable vehicle
✓ Australian working rights
✓ Reliable attendance and punctuality
✓ Strong attention to detail
✓ Good communication and customer-service skills
✓ The ability to work independently and follow instructions
✓ The physical ability to safely perform cleaning duties

Additional clearances, such as a DHS Aged Care Sector Employment Screening or Working with Children Check, may be required for particular client locations.
