We’re growing and we’re innovating, which has created multiple permanent Machine Operator opportunities across our production teams where you can build your technical capability and contribute to how we improve safety, quality and efficiency.

We run a 24/7 food manufacturing site to create Australia’s most loved and number one Yoghurt products and we’re looking for motivated people to join our team.

The Opportunity 

As a Machine Operator, you’ll take ownership of a designated section of the production line. You’ll operate modern production and packing equipment, monitor quality and materials, respond to issues within your scope and work closely with the broader team to keep production moving safely and efficiently. It’s an opportunity to build broader machine capability and develop a long-term career in a growing business.

This position operates on a 12-hour day shift roster from 6:00am to 6:00pm, averaging 76 hours per fortnight. Employees work a rotating roster that includes four shifts one week and two shifts the next, with every second Saturday off. This schedule provides a balance of regular working hours and extended periods of time off throughout the fortnight.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Operate production and packing machinery in line with SOPs

• Dismantle and reassemble equipment as required

• Operate multiple pieces of equipment

• Complete CIP (Clean-in-Place) processes

• Maintain GMP, safety, and “clean as you go” standards

• Assist Maintenance by sharing equipment information and supporting basic troubleshooting and handovers

• Contribute to a positive, team-focused culture and continuous improvement

Skills & Experience

Ideally to be successful in this role you will have:

• Machine operating or manufacturing experience, or transferable experience from fast-paced, process-driven environments

• Reliability and a strong work ethic

• A positive, motivated attitude and pride in the quality of your work

• The ability to work in a fast-paced, high volume production environment

• Strong attention to detail, a commitment to quality and team work

• A willingness to learn and develop new skills, processes and standard operating procedures

• The ability to adapt to change and work effectively in an evolving environment
