Stevemacs Bulk Fuel Haulage are seeking experienced Heavy Vehicle Mechanics to join our growing maintenance team based in Forrestfield, Perth and across regional Western Australia.

About the Role

Reporting to the Perth Workshop Manager, you'll play a key role in keeping our fleet operating safely and efficiently.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance

• Mechanical repairs and component rebuilds

• Diagnosing hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and mechanical faults

• Engine, drivetrain, steering, suspension and brake repairs

• Roadworthy inspections and defect rectification

• Breakdown response and field service support (where applicable)

• Accurate maintenance reporting and service documentation

• Maintaining a safe and compliant work environment

• Contributing to continuous improvement and workshop efficiency

Flexible Work Options Available

Perth Workshop

Work from our modern Perth facility maintaining a high-quality fleet.

Regional Rotation

Work one week at a regional operational site and one week in Perth. Travel, accommodation and associated expenses provided.

Breakdown & Field Service

Take ownership of a fully equipped service vehicle and travel throughout WA supporting fleet operations.

Regional-Based Positions

Suitable candidates may be based in regional WA locations supporting local operations.

About You

We're looking for trade-qualified mechanics who take pride in their workmanship and have a strong commitment to safety.

Essential

• Trade qualification in Heavy Vehicle Mechanical Technology, Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent

• Experience maintaining heavy vehicle fleets

• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability

• Current WA Driver's Licence

• Ability to work independently and within a team

• Strong commitment to safety and attention to detail

Highly Regarded

• HR,HC or MC Licence

• Experience with Mack and Volvo trucks

• Fuel transport, mining, logistics or heavy haulage experience

• Breakdown or field service experience

• Experience using electronic diagnostic and fleet maintenance systems

• Forklift Licence (LF)

Pre-Employment Requirements

Successful applicants will be required to:

• Pass a pre-employment medical assessment

• Pass drug and alcohol screening

• Provide a National Police Clearance

• Complete company and client inductions as required
