Macro Auto Services is a trusted and well-established workshop in Mitcham with a solid reputation. We're looking for a Qualified Motor Mechanic with 8+ years of hands-on experience to join our team.

About the Role:

You'll be responsible for servicing and repairing a wide variety of vehicles, mainly cars and light commercials.
The work is steady, hands-on, and varied.

Key responsibilities:

• Perform full vehicle inspections and diagnostics

• Carry out logbook services, brake repairs, and suspension work

• Handle major and minor mechanical repairs and general maintenance

• Communicate clearly with the team and customers

• Maintain accurate job records and parts usage

• Keep a clean, safe, and organised work area

• Contribute to a positive and efficient team workflow

Who are we looking for?

We're after someone experienced, reliable, and easy to get along with - someone who works well in a team and brings a can-do attitude to the job.

Here's what you'll need:

• Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent)

• A minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in a workshop environment

• Solid knowledge of servicing, brakes, suspension, and diagnostics

• Proficiency with all diagnostic equipment, including computerised systems and advanced diagnostic tools

• Great problem-solving skills and close attention to detail

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• A manual driver's licence

• Must have Full Australian working rights

• No Sponsorship is available for this position
