Construction Electrician – Perth Based + Short Regional Projects

FIFO: $85–$90/hr flat + super
Perth: $55–$60/hr + penalties + super
All flights, accommodation and meals covered on FIFO trips

About the Opportunity

Elcore Electrics is building a crew of project electricians for regional and mine site work across WA. Borefields, bore and pump installs, plant upgrades and camp refurbs, on short, sharp project stints of anywhere from a day to two weeks.

This isn't a 2:1 or 8:6 where you disappear for weeks. Trips are short, rostered even time, and you're back home in between. When you're in Perth, there's construction and industrial work out of our Malaga workshop to keep the hours up.

It's FIFO money with a lot more time at home.

What You'll Be Doing

On regional projects:

• Borefield electrical works: bore installs, pump stations and pontoon pumps

• Plant and infrastructure upgrades, brownfields tie-ins and refurbishments

• Camp upgrades and refurbishments

• Terminations, testing, fault-finding and commissioning support

In Perth between trips:

• Construction, upgrades and maintenance works with the Perth crew

• Workshop and prefab work for upcoming projects

Rates

FIFO projects: $85–$90/hr flat

• Paid on all hours worked, 12-hour days

• $90/hr for Instrumentation, HV Switching experience and additional relevant tickets

• Flights or travel, accommodation and meals covered

Perth work: $50–$60/hr + penalties

• Standard hours out of our Malaga workshop, with overtime and penalties paid as applicable

• Company vehicle while on Perth work

Superannuation paid on all FIFO hours worked.

What You'll Need

Mandatory:

• WA Electrical Licence

• Manual driver's licence

• White Card

• Mine site or construction experience

• Available for regional trips of up to 14 days at short notice

• Pass pre-employment medical and D&A / National Police Clearance, if required

Highly regarded:

• Borefield, pump or dewatering experience

• Process plant or camp experience

• EWP, Working at Heights, LVR/CPR

• HV Switching

• Instrumentation or telemetry exposure (or keen to learn it)
