About the Role
The Field Marketing Officer develops and implements strategic marketing plans that strengthen brand visibility, support product growth, and contribute to business targets.
The role combines strategic planning with hands-on field marketing activities, including roadshows, events, seminars, training programs, and institutional activations. Working closely with business leaders, sales teams, creative teams, and external partners, the Marketing Officer turns market insights into campaigns that engage customers and generate business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategic and integrated marketing plans aligned with business unit goals.
Plan and coordinate field marketing activities, including roadshows, events, seminars, training sessions, school activations, and other customer engagement programs.
Maintain consistent brand messaging and positioning across digital, print, retail, institutional, and field marketing channels.
Analyze customer insights, market trends, competitor activities, sales data, and campaign performance to identify business opportunities.
Translate market findings into effective product positioning, promotional strategies, and campaign recommendations.
Coordinate with creative teams in developing campaign materials, book covers, promotional assets, and other customer-facing materials.
Partner with institutional and retail sales teams by providing localized marketing plans, promotional programs, and sales support materials.
Develop targeted campaigns based on customer profiles and market segments to encourage engagement, loyalty, and repeat business.
Identify partnership and co-branding opportunities that can expand market reach and support product adoption.
Conduct competitor and market pricing reviews and provide recommendations that support revenue growth and profitability.
Establish and monitor campaign performance measures, including conversion rates, return on investment, customer acquisition cost, and other relevant marketing metrics.
Prepare campaign performance updates and recommend timely improvements based on results.
Manage the assigned marketing budget and monitor advertising and promotional expenses.
Coordinate with vendors and external partners to ensure marketing activities are delivered according to agreed requirements and timelines.
Recommend marketing tools and technologies that can improve campaign execution, tracking, and team coordination.
Perform other marketing and coordination responsibilities based on changing business needs.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Mass Communication, Development Communication, or a related field.
At least five years of relevant marketing experience, preferably in field marketing.
Must have experience in:
Strategic marketing
Marketing plan development
Roadshows and events
Seminars and training activities
At least one year of supervisory experience from a previous role is an advantage
Strong understanding of branding, campaign management, customer engagement, market research, and budget management.
Strong planning, communication, analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.
Able to collaborate effectively with sales teams, creative teams, business leaders, vendors, and external partners.
Comfortable handling both strategic planning and hands-on field execution.
