About the role

Goodfarmer Fresh Fruit Trading Corp. is seeking a full-time Accounting Staff to join our Finance team in Davao City, Davao del Sur. This position is fundamental to maintaining the financial integrity of our organisation, ensuring accurate recording, processing, and reporting of all financial transactions. As an Accounting Staff member, you will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day accounting operations and contributing to the production of timely and accurate financial reports that inform business decisions across the company.

What you'll be doing

1. Updating the daily transactions of Materials Movement of the growers balances in company's record.

2. Checking and verifying daily movement of materials per grower against documents.

3. Computes packaging materials variance of growers and Warehouse during physical count and retrieval of materials.

4. Conducting monthly inventory count at the Warehouse.

5. Generating reconciliation report of grower's PMs accountability.

6. Preparing monthly inventory report during FS closing.

7. Preparing annual inventory listing for submission to BIR.

8. Preparing compliance documents for ZERO-Rated Certification requirements.

What we're looking for

1. Completed tertiary level education at minimum; a qualification in accounting, bookkeeping, or a related field is preferred.

2. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting systems such as QuickBooks, or similar platforms is advantageous

3. Strong attention to detail with excellent numerical accuracy and organizational skills.

4. Competent understanding of fundamental accounting principles and practices relevant to financial accounting and reporting.

5. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and local languages as applicable.

7. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team and take direction from senior accounting staff.

8. Reliability, integrity, and a professional approach to handling confidential financial information.

9. Prior experience in an accounting role within the fresh produce, agriculture, or trading industries is preferred but not essential.
