• Assist in operation and maintenance of main engine, auxiliary engines and engine room machinery
• Carry out routine inspections, checks and planned maintenance as directed by senior engineers
• Monitor engine room parameters and report any abnormalities promptly
• Assist with bunkering, fuel transfers and oil record book entries as required
• Support safe cargo operations on chemical tankers as per company and industry procedures
• Follow all safety, environmental and permit-to-work procedures at all times
• Maintain good housekeeping and cleanliness in engine room spaces

• Valid 4th Engineer / Officer in Charge of an Engineering Watch (OICEW) license, meeting STCW requirements
• Previous sea service as 4th Engineer / Junior Engineer, preferably on tankers (chemical tanker experience an advantage)
• Valid STCW basic and advanced tanker (chemical) certificates as required
• Good knowledge of engine room operations, maintenance and safety practices
• Good English communication skills, spoken and written
• Medically fit for sea service with valid medical certificate
• Team player with a proactive and safety-conscious attitude
