About the Role

TechNext is hiring a Senior Full Stack Business Consultant — a rare, dynamic profile who operates across the full delivery spectrum: from understanding a client's business challenges and designing the right solution, to building it, and seeing it through to adoption.

This is a senior leadership position. You will lead client engagements end-to-end while acting as the delivery lead for both developers and functional consultants, setting the technical direction, owning the functional design, and being the person the team and the client both look to when it matters. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable in a boardroom and a code editor — and has spent years leading in both.

Leadership & Delivery Ownership

• Act as engagement lead: own project outcomes end-to-end, from discovery through go-live and beyond

• Lead and mentor a mixed team of developers and functional consultants — reviewing solution designs, unblocking technical decisions, and raising the bar on delivery quality

• Set and enforce standards for code quality, documentation, and implementation methodology across projects

• Serve as the escalation point for complex functional and technical decisions on live engagements

Client & Functional

• Lead business discovery sessions, process mapping, and requirements gathering with client stakeholders across all departments

• Design solution architectures that translate operational workflows into Odoo configurations

• Deliver system walkthroughs, UAT sessions, end-user training, and go-live support

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the engagement lifecycle — managing expectations, communicating progress, and resolving issues with professionalism and clarity

• Identify opportunities to expand solutions within existing client accounts

Technical & Development

• Configure and implement Odoo modules across Accounting, Inventory, Sales, CRM, HR, Manufacturing, and Project Management

• Develop custom Odoo modules, automations, and integrations using Python and the Odoo framework

• Build and maintain front-end customizations using JavaScript, XML, and QWeb

• Integrate Odoo with third-party platforms via REST APIs and middleware

• Support data migration including mapping, transformation, cleansing, and validation

• Lead code reviews, technical handoffs, and architecture decisions for the development team

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 6 years of experience in the ERP industry, spanning consulting, business analysis, solutions architecture, and software development

• Proven track record leading both developers and functional consultants — as a tech lead, delivery lead, or senior consultant owning project outcomes end-to-end

• Deep strength on both sides of ERP: able to design and defend a functional solution with a CFO in the morning, and review or write the Python implementing it in the afternoon

• Hands-on Odoo implementation experience across multiple modules and versions (v14 and above)

• Proficiency in Python and Odoo backend development; working knowledge of JavaScript/XML for front-end work

• Strong business process knowledge across at least two verticals — finance, supply chain, HR, or operations

• Excellent English communication skills with the ability to present confidently to clients, executives, and technical teams

• Proven ability to manage client relationships independently and navigate ambiguity on live projects

• Self-directed, organized, and comfortable managing multiple workstreams simultaneously

Highly Valued

• Odoo Functional or Technical certification

• Strong knowledge with AI tools, workflow automation, and cloud integrations.

• Background in a specific industry vertical such as distribution, manufacturing, retail, or professional services.

• Prior experience delivering projects globally.
