PROJECT AND ESTIMATING ENGINEER
Job Qualifications:
1. Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
2. Preferably with valid PRC license
Required Skills:
1. Well versed in engineering regulatory requirements, codes and standards.
2. Knowledgeable in design and visualization software such as AutoCAD.
3. Ability to take-over the on-site situations during the absence of the project manager.
4. Can communicate and ability to produce precise and detailed report.
5. With strong leadership and sound decision making capabilities.
6. Time management and organizational skills.
7. Can anticipate problems and create solutions as needed for immediate quick fix.
8. Must have Valid Driver’s License.
Required Experience:
1. Preferably with 1-3 years on-site project supervision experience.
2. Preferably with BOSH/COSH Training
3. Knowledgeable in ISO Standards and Customer Relations Management
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Review project plans, drawings, and specifications to determine scope and requirements.
2. Prepare deatailed cost estimates including materials, labor, equipment nad subcontracting.
3. Coordinate with purchasing department and subcontractors to obtain accurate pricing.
4. Analyze project risks, contingencies, and cost-saving opportunites.
5. Work closely with the project and sales management to ensure estimates align with technical and operational requirements.
6. Prepare bid costing and participate in tender submissions.
7. Update and maintain cost databases, historical data, and estimation tools.
8. Supervise the preparation and gathering of administrative documents for the technical documents such as shop drawings, material submittals, method statemenst.
9. Verify that the specification and quantity of required equipement and materials are correct against the approval material submittakls and ahop drawing prior ordering.
10. Ensure that all required plants, equipment and tools are accounted, complete and in good working condition during mobilization.
11. Coordination to client, authority and other trade contractors on-site.
12. Ensure that all equipment and materials are inspected and approved by the client prior tp fabrication and intallation
13. Ensure that all installation works are complyinh to approved shop drawings and comments of the client
14. Arrange the client inspection after completion of works.
15. Completion and preparation of system installation for testing and commissioning
16. Keep recored and maintain inspection forms.
17. Gathering and compilation of all technical documents for the handling-over submission
18. Ensure that all plants, tools and equipment, unused and scrap materails are accounted during demobilization.
19. Monitor and report all project status on regular basis
20. Perform other tasks which may be assigned by Sales and Project Manager
